WARRIOR WISDOM VOL 01: A WORTHY ADDITION TO A "WISDOM LIBRARY!" The content of Mr. Sander's book has already been described most accurately by other reviewers, the maxims or sayings are first rate, although I would have enjoyed some more background info on the maxims themselves (eg historical precedents, biographical details). A question might arise however - if one already has some experience in the Arts - or other books on quotations - would this make a good purchase? I believe it would, particularly if one is seeking to share some (martial) wisdom with a young loved one or a beginning student. This is where Mr. Sanders shines. His style is simple and direct, yet still contains enough imagery and anecdotes to communicate despite a possible age gap; as a seasoned instructor might address a younger student when seeking to assist them in the formation of judgement, criterion or how they should THINK. His opening lines on the facets of Bushido not being solely for the benefit of the practitioner (but for the rest of society, through the practitioner) are a fine example of this.
